Our Cancellation Policy

For holiday intensive program - please replace any reference to 'monthly invoice' with 'holiday intensive invoice' - Holiday intensive invoices are paid in advance for the entire week of the intensive.

Missed Lesson Policy

​

Please inform us before paying your monthly invoice if you will not be able to attend any of the scheduled lessons, and we will send an invoice that does not include the future missed lesson. 

​

Once an invoice has been paid, we are only able to issue credits for missed lessons in the event of student illness or for the cancellation of a lesson by Water Dragon Swim Tuition.

​

In the event of student illness preventing a scheduled lesson from taking place, please inform the instructor 4 hours or more before the scheduled lesson. If adequate notice is given, we will issue a credit equal to the value of the missed lesson towards the next month's invoice.

Note that while we do offer credits for missed lessons in SOME circumstances, we do not offer refunds.

 

Credits - not refunds - may be offered in the case of a long term injury being sustained.

Circumstances in which Water Dragon Swim Tuition may cancel a lesson:

  • Any electrical storm

  • Heavy rain (at the discretion of Water Dragon Swim Tuition)

  • Swim Instructor illness or other unavailability (we will endeavour to provide an alternate teacher in this circumstance)

Note that lessons typically go ahead in light to medium rain. Hey, we're getting wet anyway right?!

Please note that in the case of the usual swim teacher being unable to teach any booked sessions, Water Dragon Swim Tuition reserves the right to change the swim teacher. Refunds, credits, or makeup lessons would not be provided in this circumstance. We will give you prior notice if your swim teacher will change.
